Streets of Ladjifarani!
Below is helpful information and resources to help plan your trip out to CSR. All of our events take place in rain or shine. If lightning does occur, delays will be handled. Due to an overwhelming of delays, event cancellation is possible. CSR does not offer refunds due to inclement weather.
*CSR Parakou Limited to 50 Participants.
Event Start: Place Bio Guera (South of Stade Municipal De Parakou)
Transition: Place Bio Guera (South of Stade Municipal De Parakou)
Finish Line: Place Bio Guera (South of Stade Municipal De Parakou)
Packet Pick-Up, Race Day Registration & Transition Opens: 7:00 AM
Packet Pick-Up & Race Day Registration Closes: 7:30 AM
Transition Closes for All Competitors: 7:45 AM
Standard Duathlon Start: 8:00 AM
Award Ceremony: 11:30 AM
All Equipment Out of Transition: 12:00 PM
Participants will exit transition westbound on RNIE6, continuing to RNIE2. Following course markers northbound and reaching turnaround point (5.120km estimated) near Hotel le Bonheur. This course features a circuit design, four laps of 10km.
Standard Duathlon: 40km
1st Leg (10km): Participants will start from Place Bio Guera (northbound), passing Stade Municipal De Parakou, continuing northbound until Carrefour Papini Ferris Wheel, where participants will have a casual run around the perimeter of Ladjifarani Military Camp. 1st Leg will consist two laps of 5km.
2nd Leg (5km): Entering into transition (eastbound on RNIE6) from the bike discipline. Participants will then exit northbound, completing one more lap around Ladjifarani Military Camp - to the Finish Line of Place Bio Geura!
Standard Duathlon 1st Leg: 10km
Standard Duathlon 2nd Leg: 5km
*Course subject to change when deemed appropriate.
*All participants will sign an Athlete Waiver event morning (if not completed by paper registration).
As a participant of CSR Parakou, each athlete will receive:
- Parakou Race Number, Bungie
- Parakou Promotional Bag and Assorted Fruit Options
AWARDS & DIVISIONS
Awards will be provided to the top overall participants of our Standard Duathlon.
- 1st Place Male and Female Overall: 50 USD
- 2nd Place Male and Female Overall: 45 USD
- 3rd Place Male and Female Overall: 40 USD

PROFESSIONAL / ELITE ATHLETE CRITERIA
Any athlete wishing to enter CSR Parakou as a Professional, must maintain a valid Professional / Elite License from their Governing Triathlon Federation.
